Head Coach Kelley Green and Assistant Coach Kelly Shannon bring a wealth of DI and DII
coaching experience to the staff. In 2006, they led the LHU Lady Eagles to a National
Championship and were named NFCA DII Coaching Staff of the Year. Last year, the Lady
Eagles finished as the National Runner-up. Their teams have hit 144 home runs in the past 2
seasons with a team batting average of .332 over the past 3 seasons. They take great pride in
defense and have boasted a team fielding percentage of .968. The Haven pitching staff led the
country with a .55 ERA in 2006 and had another stellar performance in 2007 with an ERA of
1.21.
In addition to Coach Green and Coach Shannon, several members of the 2009 squad will be
on hand such as First Team All-American Kristin Erb. Additional clinicians will be hired if
necessary in order to keep the player to clinician ratio low.
